The second phase of the project is about to end. What would be the next steps? Partners are working on local action plans, which will directly influence policy instruments identified within the project. In the following two years, partner will be focused on the implementation of local action plans.
In order to facilitate the evaluation of the future project and infrastructural works, eight quality criteria were established under the supervision of the advisory partner, Urban Cycling Institute of Amsterdam. These quality criteria, based on the best practices from each partner, will be adopted at local and regional level in the future cycling and walking measures and investments.
More specifically, the eight quality criteria are the following:
