Speakers
Sami has been working in the commercial vehicle business for more than a decade focusing on different areas: change management, sales, after sales and business management in Nordic countries. He has international experience too and supported the change of VDL from thinking diesel only to engaging in e-mobility with turn-key solutions and consultancy to customer how to manage the transformation within the entire value chain.
János has spent 20 years at the technical faculty of the University of Pécs as a lecturer and researcher before he joined public service. He supported the activities of the Hungarian delegation in the European Parliament as senior adviser on regional development and transport and since 2009 has been involved in understanding and promoting electric mobility and related public procurements, from 2012 focusing on the emerging e-bus field. His ambition is to lead his native town Pécs from European Capital of Culture 2010 to Green Capital of Europe 202?.
Workshop session
Topic 1: Challenges regarding implementation and operation and possible solutions (or experiences and good practices). Write down challenges on the whiteboard, that either happened to you or that you fear. Include short coffee break to facilitate clustering of input by the moderator. In the next step try to come up with different approaches to deal with the challenges. Afterwards, discuss the ideas. As last step, write down which lessons learned you take away and which challenges are still open. Maybe inform the participants on the content of the workshop, so they can prepare?
Topic 2: What are your regionally specific operational requirements and how does it influence the technical requirements? Can we cluster between different types of requirements or is no case like the other? What are common challenges, where can we work together or learn from each other to overcome them?
