Innovative actions for SME promotion and monitoring impact in European Capitals of Culture

Registration is now open! You are cordially invited to our final dissemination event!

This event will conclude our three years of interregional exchange, learning, and co-creation. Past, present, future and aspiring Cultural Capitals will be united, along with policy makers and EU representatives. You will be hearing the stories of our actions – how they were designed and implemented – and their impacts, especially on policy improvements, the cultural and creative sector, and entrepreneurship.

For our final event, we going to Matera, Italy. The event will be hybrid, and we make sure to keep the most important bits online for your as well - see below!

9th June, Thursday | 3 years of ECoC-SME

10:00 – 13:00 ECoC-SME stories from the 5 regions How our actions were designed, implemented, and adapted upon implementation  14:00 – 15:15 Policy impact of the ECoC-SME project: roundtable discussion What are the policy impacts and the contributions of our Action Plans in the five regions, and how are they already visible? 15:30 – 18:00 Legacy of the ECoC events An innovative panel where we would give the floor to EU-level speakers as well as ECoC city representatives, incl. our own 5 regions, and a closing speech

10th June, Friday | Synergy Day

10:30 – 13:00 The importance of data in the process of ECoCs Measurement and monitoring of broader impacts of the European Capital of Culture event, and the importance of data in ECoCs.
