The Municipality of Timisoara is organising the Creative Talks and Matchmaking Fair on Friday 27 May and Saturday 28 May at the Center for Projects of the Timișoara Municipality , 1 Vasile Alecsandri Street, and online on the event Facebook page (see below).
With Timisoara 2023 Capital of Culture just around the corner, join us for a structured debate around the incentives and impact of the European Capital of Culture phenomenon on the Cultural and Creative sectors. With speakers from the local and international arena, talking on and off the stage about the shared lessons we all need to learn from, so we can grow together.
During the two-day event there will be discussions addressing the following topics:
- The gains and the pitfalls of the European Capital of Culture journey for Cultural and Creative Industries companies and organisations .
- Why and how the Cultural and Creative Industries enterprises need nowadays to develop new processes, services, contents and practices, in order to provide more value for the society .
- Concrete and impactful tools deployed by third parties in support of Cultural and Creative Industries entrepreneurship and skills.
- Will the Cultural and Creative Industries strive or thrive, with the increasing pressure of globalization and technological innovation?
In the courtyard of the Center for Projects of the Timișoara Municipality, a special Matchmaking Fair, showcasing local Cultural and Creative Industries, that learned and adapted themselves while offering goods and services in changing times.

Creative Talks and Matchmaking Fair represents Action 2 in the Local Action Plan developed within the Interreg Europe ECoC-SME: Actions for inducing SME growth and innovation via the ECoC event and legacy project, in which the Municipality of Timișoara is a partner.
