As the last ‘stop’ of ERUDITE project the consortium partners met in Lormes, France and worked intensively to conclude the activities of the extension period. The event took place on the 7th and 8th June 2022.
During the 2-day event the participants took part on study visits, discussions and worked on common solutions how to overcome the challenges of COVID-19 affecting rural and regionals digital services by applying with the SEROI+ method.
This time the special focus of the meeting was on the SEROI+ calculator and the deeper insight into the rural digital services of Lormes and its area.
On DAY 1 each partner was invited to present results achieved in the own region in the topic of the relationship between digital services and COVID-19 during the 1-year extension. This was followed by a short SEROI+ group work, during which the participant got to know the new functions of SEROI+ (SEROI+ calculator) and performed a trial analysis.
After lunch, the hosts invited the partners to a short walking tour in the "Village/ Market town" of Lormes in the form of a study tour, where the partners could get to know the village's unique digital programs, the support and financial structure and the enthusiastic contribution of the inhabitants. After the study trip, the participants continued their group work with the SEROI+ calculator.
On the next day as a starting point partners visited the Nivernais Morvan Digital Hub facility, where they learned about the Hub's services, the remote work program and other locally available digital services. After the lunch, the ERUDITE team continued the joint work with the SEROI+ Calculator, during which the partners calculated the economic and social return of the program using the local example they had learned.
