The jury of the Dutch organisation Duurzame Dinsdag (Sustainable Tuesday) rated EV ENERGY as one of the 100 best initiatives (out of 359)!
What is Sustainable Tuesday?
The first Tuesday of September is Sustainable Tuesday. A special day on which sustainable ideas and initiatives get a platform in the political field in The Hague. On this day, the government will receive a Sustainable Tuesday suitcase with hundreds of sustainable ideas and initiatives from all over the Netherlands. The most sustainable, innovative and distinctive ideas and initiatives have a chance to win prizes and the opportunity to give the idea or initiative an extra boost.
Politicians are responsible for policy in the Netherlands, but who knows better what is going on in society than the 'ordinary man' himself? Offering the suitcase is therefore a symbol of our society, in which a huge amount of knowledge, initiative and creativity are available in the field of sustainability.
Huge diversity of ideas and senders
Sustainable Tuesday offers all sorts of sustainable ideas and initiatives a stage. From a detailed business plan to a brilliant sustainable idea in our own household, everything comes together in the suitcase. The senders of ideas and initiatives are also extremely diverse. They come from private individuals, associations, companies, social organisations and start-ups. Together they show that sustainability is alive and not a far-off-my-bed show. What’s to come?
On September 4th, the annual event is organised in The Hague where possibly we’ll get a reward for our project.
