A research group of Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) our EV Energy partner from Lithuania has carried out a research project on the Environmental impact assessment of Electric vehicles in the National context of the electricity mix in Lithuania. Under this project, the master thesis “Environmental Life Cycle Assessment of Electric Vehicles in Lithuania” from Monika Svarrnaviciute was evaluated as the best work in the field transport under a contest organised by Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania. Recently, the results of the research work - article “Comparative environmental life cycle assessment of electric and conventional vehicles in Lithuania” were published in the Journal of Cleaner Production (2020).
