On May 17, 2021, the Lodzkie Region organized the 5th meeting of the Regional Stakeholder Group of the FINCH project. The main subject was the possibility of obtaining funds for the implementation of projects in the area of cultural development and protection of cultural heritage in the financial perspective 2021-2027. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Mateusz Barwaśny, Deputy Director of the Promotion Department of the Marshal's Office of the Lodz Region. The event was held online and was attended by over 30 entities from the Lodzkie Region operating in the field of culture, cultural heritage and creative industries.
During the meeting, the possibilities of obtaining funds for the implementation of projects regarding the development of culture and protection of cultural heritage under the programs: Creative Europe and Horizon Europe for 2021-2027 were presented. The speakers were: Ms. Ewa Kornacka - a representative of Creative Europe Desk Polska and Mr. Michał Kaczmarek - a representative of the Regional Program Contact Point EU Research. Lodzkie presented to the participants the assumptions of the INTERREG Europe program, the achievements of the FINCH project and the actions of Regional Action Plan for the Lodzkie Region. The meeting ended with a question and answer session.
The event was an opportunity for participants to learn more about the current funding opportunities for cultural heritage as well as the potential and inspiration from the exchange of mutual experiences in the FINCH project.
