State Chancellery and Ministry of Culture
The State Chancellery is the "authority" of the Prime Minister. It supports the head of government in defining and implementing the political guidelines and in his function as representative of the country. This is where all the threads of government and administrative work converge. The State Chancellery is also directly responsible for overarching tasks such as media policy, European policy, and international cooperation or the preparation of conferences for heads of government at federal and state level.
Since April 2016, the State Chancellery is responsible for the field of culture and in charge of cultural policy and cultural promotion.

Association of Museums Saxony-Anhalt
The Museumsverband Sachsen-Anhalt e.V. (Association of Museums) advises its members on questions relating to museum work. It arranges contacts with experts, provides information on current developments in the museum sector, and supervises and advises the museums' networking projects. An important task is public relations work on the museum landscape in Saxony-Anhalt. The Museum Association is the point of contact for the state authorities on questions concerning the development of the museum landscape in Saxony-Anhalt. It maintains contact with other museum associations in Germany and with other cultural associations in Saxony-Anhalt.

State Office for Monument Preservation and Archaeology
The State Office is responsible for monument preservation and archaeology in Saxony-Anhalt. Its tasks include the scientific recording, research, and documentation of cultural monuments, the maintenance of the memorial registers as well as the expert opinion on monument conservation issues in approval and planning procedures. The archaeological preservation of monuments also includes the documentation, protection, and presentation of archaeological monuments. The preservation of buildings and art monuments accompanies conservation measures for non-archaeological cultural monuments.
The State Office also maintains its own scientific specialist archives and its own specialist library.
The State Museum of Prehistory is part of the State Office.
Tourismusverband Sachsen-Anhalt e.V.
The Tourism Association Saxony-Anhalt e. V. (LTV - Landestourismusverband) is the umbrella organisation of the tourism industry in Saxony-Anhalt and a network of regional and trade associations. The LTV represents the interests of tourism policy in the state of Saxony-Anhalt. It promotes tourism at state level and advocates uniform quality standards, certification and classification systems for guest orientation. The LTV is committed to improving the quality of tourism services in order to generate higher added value. By initiating and accompanying projects, the LTV contributes to the promotion of tourism as an economic factor in the country.

Garden Dreams - Historical Parks in Saxony-Anhalt e. V.
The project "Gartenträume - Historische Parks in Sachsen-Anhalt" (Garden dreams – Historical Parks in Saxony-Anhalt) pursues the goal of rediscovering the garden cultural heritage in Saxony-Anhalt as a tourism network for the preservation of historical monuments. The historical parks, some of which have already fallen into oblivion, will be made known to a broad public. 50 parks of different character throughout Saxony-Anhalt belong to the network. These include the Dessau-Wörlitzer Gartenreich, the Elbauenpark in Magdeburg, the Europa-Rosarium in Sangerhausen and the Schlossgärten in Blankenburg. Since the beginning of 2006, all gardens are marketed under a unique logo. Goals of the network garden dreams are the restoration and preservation of the historical gardens, the improvement of the touristic attractiveness and economic use of the plants, the switching of garden art, and garden monument care.

Cultural Foundation Saxony-Anhalt
The "Kulturstiftung Sachsen-Anhalt" (formerly until 2017 "Stiftung Dome und Schlösser" – Association for Cathedrals and Castles) is a foundation under public law for the preservation of cultural monuments and cultural assets in Saxony-Anhalt. The foundation manages 18 important cultural monuments in Saxony-Anhalt. Its task is to protect, preserve, and design this valuable asset.
