In the conference hall on Traugutta Street gathered representatives of local self-government and three stakeholders’ institution, that is: Centre for Public Procurement and Public-Private Partnership (University of Lodz, Faculty of Law and Administration), Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Research Institute (Lodz Academy of Management), and the City of Lodz Office. Invited guests were welcomed by Mr Marcin Pawlak – Deputy Director of the Department of Regional Policy (representative od Lodzkie Region), who also gave general speech about GPP4Growth project. 

This first meeting had an introductory and informative character. In the morning were presented legal issues connected with the public tender procedure (Professor Maria Królikowska-Olczak, University of Lodz) as well as legal aspects of green public procurement (Ph. D Anna Górczyńska, University of Lodz). After coffee break Professor Anna Rogut from Lodz Academy of management discussed examples of green public procurement projects, and Monika Kaźmierczak from the City of Lodz Office talked about examples of green public procurement applied in the City Hall.



In the second part of the meeting there was a workshop allowing for active participation of all partners and stakeholders and a discussion on future actions in the project. All participants were also asked to fill in evaluation form in which they evaluated the meeting and pointed out the issues needed to be discussed in the future.
