The 1st debriefing meeting was held at the Administration building at the University of Patras on the 8th of December 2017 at 11.00- 13.00. Several employees that carry out Public Procurement Procedures for the institutional needs were gathered into the Senate Room of the University in order to get informed about the activities of the 1st Interregional Workshop on different GPP approaches, which was held in Lodz, Poland.
The most fundamental issues presented were:
- The objectives, activities and goals of the GPP4Growth project concerning the GPP
- Tools and means to facilitate the adoption of green criteria in public procurement tenders
- Several good practices that could be used by the University of Patras procurement departments for own tendering procedures
A live discussion followed with questions and answers concerning green criteria that could be used in specific tenders carried out by the University.
