The second stakeholder meeting for the GPP4Growth project took place on November 28th 2017 in the headquarters of the FUNDACIÓN BIODIVERSIDAD, located at Patio de Banderas square, 16, 41004 (SEVILLE).

The meeting began at 11:00 a.m. with the presentation of the main conclusions to the Stakeholder Group (SG) by María Briones Alcañiz, Chief of Communication and Documentation Service, of the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning.




After this intervention, representatives of the new organizations joining the group, from the Provincial Energy Agency of Cádiz, the Andalusian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FAMP) and the Pablo de Olavide University, presented themselves. Also, the members of organizations that were already members but could not attend the first SG meeting.

Then, after the breakfast, Julio Ramos, Chief of Administrative Contracting Service of the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration, summarized the implications of the new Public Sector Contracts, especially with regard to the inclusion of environmental clauses in the contractual documents.

In addition, there was time to discuss relevant issues for the SG and some agreements were reached, for instance, the preparation of a training course on GPP and the development of standard contract documents for some specific fields (e.g. “Imaging equipment”, “Copying and graphic paper” and “Cleaning products and services”)

In general, as in the first semester, it was explained all those activities that required the participation and collaboration of stakeholders and the deadlines established by the project, such as a web survey for the activity A.1.4 “Investigating the factors that influence businesses”.

Finally, all participants were also asked to fill in evaluation form in which they evaluated the meeting and pointed out the issues needed to be discussed in the future.
