The 3rd regional meeting with GPP4Growth project’s Stakeholders was held in Łódź, Poland on the 25th of April, 2018. The event brought together the representatives from public authorities, business and science sector to discuss GPP4Growth project’s implementation progress in the region.
Mr Marcin Podgórski, Director of the Regional Office of the Lodzkie Region in Brussels, Marshal’s Office of Lodzkie Region, presented the GPP4Growth project as the efficient tool for creating the resource-efficiency regional policy growth.
Mrs Monika Zielińska form International Projects Unit, Regional Office of the Lodzkie Region in Brussels, Marshal’s Office of Lodzkie Region introduced the activities undertaken as a part of the project and the possibilities of joining its implementation.
The participants had also the occasion, to listen to the presentation of Mr Mateusz Izbicki, the representative of the Centre for Public Procurement and Public-Private Partnership, University of Lodz, related to the Eco-labels and non-exclusive GPP practices. The subject of the eco-labels aroused wide interest of the participants, who had many technical and essential questions to the expert.
The next meeting was scheduled for the end of May, to conduct cascading training on eco-labels, after the next GPP4Growth project’s workshop on this issue in Bulgaria (May, 2018).
