The fourth stakeholder meeting for the GPP4Growth project took place on November 21st 2018 in the Ayre Hotel Sevilla, pioneer in the city of Seville in carrying out a sustainable management with a strong social and environmental commitment. As each semester, the members of the working group met to discuss the Green Public Procurement in Andalusia. The number of registered attendees was 22 people from both public administrations and the private sector.
The meeting began with the welcome to the new members of this Group and with the presentation of the main advances of the project since the last meeting, such as the lessons learnt during the “experience visit” on GPP that took place in Wexford (Ireland), the latest documents prepared within the project and the upcoming events planned for the first semester of 2019.
During the meeting the face-to-face training course "News in the CPV after Law 9/2017" was presented, as well as the training plan of the Andalusian Institute of Public Administration that has programmed a unique edition of tutorial tele-training of 25 hours in September 2019.
Next, the Andalusian Emissions Compensation System (SACE) was presented and its consideration as award criteria in public tenders.
For his part, the representative of the University of Seville spoke about the current situation, after the round of consultations with the sectoral tables set up, of the documents on recommendations for public procurement in the sectors of paper for copies and graphics; reprography; and cleaning services and products.
Finally, representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Public Administration presented the current status of the contract framework agreements of the Regional Government of Andalusia and what environmental criteria have been considered in them. They were also able to contribute their comments to the aforementioned recommendations and share their extensive experience in the preparation of contract documents with the rest of the members.
At the end of the meeting all participants were also asked to fill in evaluation form in which they evaluated the meeting and pointed out the issues needed to be discussed in the future.
