The fourth stakeholder meeting for the GPP4Growth project took place on October 16th 2018 in Brecht, Belgium.
After the welcoming speech and a round of introduction, the GPP4Growth project and its progress were addressed. In the light of the action plan to be developed, policy recommendations suggested within the project were shared and the question was asked on what further changes are needed for an efficient strategy for GPP in Flanders.
In the first stakeholder meeting ICT was suggested as a subject worth elaborating on. Therefore, Province of Antwerp started a project in cooperation with network organization BBL, aiming to increase and share knowledge on circular procurement of ICT and to develop a ready-to-use model tender. Green ICT, circularity and the definition of needs were discussed, by both sustainability officials and ICTers, at the same time ensuring that green public procurement of ICT-material is on the agenda of their organisation.
