On the 20th of September 2019, University of Patras, the Lead Partner of the GPP4Growth project, attended the 7th Conference on Regional Development, entitled "Circular Economy & Sustainable Development", represented by professor Christos J. Bouras with a presentation on the GPP4Growth Project.
Many critical issues were discussed in the event, such as:
• The importance of achieving the UN's sustainable goals at national, European and global level.
• The catalytic role of innovation in addressing the challenges of climate change, through the successful course of EIT Climate-KIC Greece.
• Achieving the necessary synergies at regional and national level to promote the transition to a sustainable economy and society.
• Strengthening regional governance in promoting a holistic sustainable agenda that will have a direct, positive impact on the daily lives and well-being of citizens.
