IMPACT project staff from the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning of the Regional Government of Andalusia has recently convened and held meetings in different natural spaces in Andalusian region.

In addition to the Ministry staff, directors of several Natural Parks and personnel from different organisations attended to these meetings. The aforementioned organisations included local business development centers, rural development groups, the Environment and Water Agency of Andalusia and the Councils of Tourism and Culture.

The purpose of these meetings was to gather information related to IMPACT project and to the environmental values of these Parks, their socio-economic situation and the activities therein oriented towards economic development and combined with the conservation of spaces.

The meetings were held from June 15th to July 3rd and comprised 5 Natural Parks: Sierras Subbéticas NP, Sierras de Cazorla NP, Segura y Las Villas NP, Sierra Norte de Sevilla NP, La Breña y Marismas de Barbate NP and Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama NP.

All the meetings were very successful in regards of its participants of call and, from them, significant contributions could be extracted.
