The National Institute for Research and Development in Tourism (INCDT) organised a Stakeholder Meeting and an Awareness Raising and Promotional Workshop in Bucharest, on Tuesday 27th September 2016.
The aim of this workshop was to identify the best practices and to share information and raise awareness of the relevant target groups (ministries, central, regional and local authorities, protected areas, associations and organisations, etc. with an active role in the development and promoting of protected areas and sustainable tourism in Romania) about the growing importance of measures of preservation with sustainable exploitation of protected areas assets.
The workshop included some presentations (Interreg Europe Programme, IMPACT project - project aim, objectives, work packages, expected results) and interactive discussions regarding the identification of the best practices from some protected areas in Romania (innovative management models, sustainable tourism in protected areas, green infrastructure, etc).
