In the Silesian Voivodship, from 12 March-15 April 2021, the process of public consultations on the draft document of the Regional Innovation Strategy (RIS) took place.
The Regional Innovation Strategy of the Śląskie Voivodship 2030 is regional in nature in terms of managing and supplying the innovation ecosystem of the Śląskie Voivodship, it applies to all intelligent and regional specializations of the Śląskie Voivodship. The basic assumption of the RIS is to increase the region's potential, support growth and conditions favorable to innovation in the conditions of knowledge growth. The identified objectives will contribute to increasing the region's potential. The essence of the Regional Innovation Strategy of the Śląskie Voivodship 2030 are activities supporting the development of entrepreneurship, strengthening entrepreneurship and scientific and research units.
As part of the consultations, online meetings were organized with representatives of local governments, science and business institutions, as well as experts and advisory bodies. Stakeholders of the InnoHEIs project, who actively participated in the preparation of the document, also participated in the meetings. All regional experiences and good practices presented within the InnoHEIs project were an inspiration for the provisions of the RIS.
