On October 11, 2021, the Marshal's Office of the Silesian Voivodeship, together with the Central Mining Institute, organized a workshop meeting entitled "KEY RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURE. EUROPEAN AND REGIONAL DIMENSION ”addressed to enterprises, business support institutions, research institutes, universities and research organizations. 32 people participated in the meeting.
The main aim of the workshop was to discuss the key research infrastructure in the European and regional dimension. The main topic of the meeting was the partnership between science and industry based on the effective use of research infrastructure as a way to build a continuous process of technology transfer and increasing innovation in companies, and the main issues discussed during the meeting were:
- good practices and experiences in managing research infrastructure at regional and European level,
- the current state and identification of problems in the use of research infrastructure,
- cooperation of industry with scientific and research institutions in the country and abroad,
- challenges in accessing research infrastructure
