Financing research infrastructure in the Silesian Voivodeship
As part of the European Funds for Silesia 2021-2027, it is planned to support scientific units for projects in the field of research infrastructure. As a result of the announced call for proposals, 21 projects of research organizations from the region were positively evaluated. The subject of the project will be research infrastructure for conducting business activity.
We expect to announce the first results of the competition in June 2023. EUR 50 million was allocated for the action.
The support includes, in particular, increasing the research and innovation potential and the use of advanced technologies in accordance with regional smart specializations and compliance with the RIS WSL 2030.
One of InnoHeis's outputs is its contribution to policy change. The objectives of the activities were used in the implementation of projects in the new financial perspective. This is an important experience in the context of programming support measures for both the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) and the ESF+ (European Social Fund).
