Interesting initiatives for start-ups in Kuyavian-Pomeranian region.
Torun is all about startups – that’s for sure! According to the research “Polish start-ups 2017” conducted by the Startup Poland Foundation, the city of Copernicus placed the third place where citizens are most willing to start their own business.
What makes this place so start-up-friendly? A major factor is that Torun is a university city. Its wide cultural offer, rich history and....perfect communication with the biggest Polish cities are not without significance, either. Everywhere in Torun you can see how modernity meets with tradition. Citizens of the city are educated, focused on development and thrill-seeking, yet also attached to the place where they were born (or in which they live by choice) and want to create a community.
