On May 29, in Torun, the third meeting of Innova Foster's stakeholders took place. The purpose was to present a diagnosis about startups environment. The participants identified the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Torun Regional Development Agency, Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technological Park, Idea Spin and the Interdisciplinary Center for Modern Technologies.

At the beginning, the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region was illustrated in terms of resources, smart specialisations and the level of innovation of the region compared to others in Poland. The startup community was characterised in terms of visibility in the media, events gathering entrepreneurs, accelerators, venture capital or business incubators. Later on, forms of support and financial instruments which help entrepreneurs to  start their innovative projects were listed.

After the presentation, the workshop part began during which the participants prepared the SWOT analysis. The analysis will be a part of comprehensive diagnosis of startup ecosystems.
