Maribor Development Agency, the lead partner of project INTRA (programme Interreg Europe) proposed changes to the OP for implementation of the EU Cohesion Policy 2014-2020 in East Slovenia. As the result, the Ministry for Economic Development and Technology of the Republic of Slovenia prepared the Internationalisation vouchers.

Head of Marketing, Tomaž Rakuša explained that

“We acquired new buyers from Sweden, when we attended an economic delegation abroad, for which we received the vouchers. The buyers were so satisfied with our products, they became our business partners, which opened the Swedish market for us.”

DUNKIN is was established in 2011 to contribute to sustainable development in the field of ecological solutions. Their primary products are equipment for addressing the problem of waste in households, tourist facilities, etc. In addition to waste management equipment, the company also develops and produces quality metal furniture for external use. Our aim is to raise ecological awareness, and at the same time offer customers simple and quality solutions that increase living comfort. Their products fall into four major categories: waste enclosures, outdoor kitchens, bicycle sheds / storage units and waste compacting machines.

In 2019 Dunkin applied for a voucher for participation at economic delegation abroad, and while attending an event in Germany, they established a very promising contact with a Swedish buyer. The value of the voucher in 2019 was just 367,60 EUR, but they have already received a voucher before, for participation at a forum in the value of 7000 EUR, and all together, the vouchers were more than helpful. Apart from keeping up with the German market, where they were already present, they have expanded to the Swedish market and placed their new line of products there.
