Maribor Development Agency, the lead partner of project INTRA (programme Interreg Europe) proposed changes to the OP for implementation of the EU Cohesion Policy 2014-2020 in East Slovenia. As the result, the Ministry for Economic Development and Technology of the Republic of Slovenia prepared the Internationalisation vouchers.

Ana Grande Jakše, the CEO of Dream Journey:

“Presenting products at fairs is the first step, where you show yourself to potential business partners and customers. Thanks to the vouchers we were able to attend a fair in Sweden, establishing contacts there.”

Dream Journey is a micro company that is dedicated to caravanning, to creating a cosy home away from home. Travelling makes people feel at home, especially if they use their own motorhome or boat. Dream Journey is the company that creates the final touches to ensure the comfort and personal note in the mobile home.

They create special bedding, designed to adjust to different bed sizes and shapes, with a special system for fixing sheets to the mattress. All are handcrafted from the finest Italian cottons and easy to put on, fold, iron and store.

In 2019 Dream Journey applied for the voucher for participation at international forums in the worth of 657 EUR. Although the amount seems modest, for a micro-SME it is a contribution, which does make a difference, as it helped them attend a fair in Sweden. Furthermore, they were also supported in digital marketing, which further helped them reach new markets.

In the current times, where tourism branch is in decline, the caravanning, as a special part of tourism which enables limitation of social contacts is very sought after. Therefore, it was very beneficial to Dream Journey to attend the fair.
