About the events:
Interregional thematic workshop - Project partners of INTRA project and regional stakeholder group members will gather at the Interregional Thematic workshop, where categorisation of internationalization measures, mapping existing policies; needs of SMEs, government initiatives will be discussed and clarified. Project partners will present internationalisation trends in 2016 as well in some specific sectors, IPR in internationalisation. Round table for defining the role of policies in enhancing internationalisation will be held. The participatory workshop “Ideal SME and ecosystem for internationalisation” will help for identifying internal and external drivers for internationalisation of the SMEs.
1st Interregional Task Force Meeting - After the conclusion of each site tour during the 1st Study Visit, Interregional Task Force Meetings will be held. It will also provide necessary inputs to guarantee high quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the policy learning exercise as well as generate new knowledge. The event will start with an Experts’ introduction round will be organised - each external expert will present himself/herself and his/ her field of expertise. Afterward the responsible partner for the Exchange of experience activity – Foundation FUNDECYT Scientific and Technological park of Extremadura (FUNDECYT –PCTEX), Spain will present the methodology for the work of the experts, calendar of the meetings, obligations and responsibilities, results from their activity. Afterward partners from Coventry University Enterprises Limited (CUE), United Kingdom will make a presentation on lessons to be learnt on Study Visits - how to connect GPs with planned policy changes. The purpose of the meeting will be to highlight all lessons learned and exchange different points of view.
1st Steering Committee Meeting - Project partners of INTRA project will gather at the 1st Steering Committee Meeting, where current issues and topics will be discussed and clarified. Project partners will present and approve the elaborated guidelines, rules and templates during the first project semester which are essential for the future work of the partnership under the project. A discussion and overview of the tasks for the second semester will be held.
Study visit No 1 - The 1st Study Visit under INTRA project will be held in Varna. During the event all project partners will learn about different good practices for internationalisation. At the beginning, Mr. Peycho Peychev, Deputy Mayor will intoduce the Internationalisation policies for SMEs in Municipality of Varna. Afterward Mr. Nikolay Petkanov, Regional representative of the Bulgarian SMEs Promotion Agency will present 2 good practices of the Agency in Internationalisation of SMEs in Bulgaria. Several regional companies will present their experience on internationalisation of start-ups and through networking and partnership. During the on-site visits in organizations’ premises, the project partners will have the opportunity to interact with their staff and, in this way, obtain added information relevant to identify a possible transferability to their own Regions.
