On Friday 15/01/21, the Climate Protection Agency has its biannual stakeholder forum on wind energy. It will also include the IRENES projects in the event and agenda. IRENES will be present together with its goals and the current status.
The stakeholder forum will be about the new regional planning programme (LROP) of the state of Lower Saxony. The LROP contains a number of specifications for the use of wind energy and other renewable energies. Dr. Stephan Löb, Head of Department 303 of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection will present the draft with regard to the specifications for wind energy use and other renewable energies.
The Hannover Region has also recently announced its planning intentions for the 5th amendment of the Regional Spatial Planning Program (RROP) to define priority areas for wind energy use. Regional Councilwoman Christine Karasch, Region Hannover, will present the current status.
