On the 24th of February 2021, the 3rd regional thematic workshop as part of the LINDANET project took place.The following issues were addressed during the event:
1. Welcome of the General Director of Climate Change and Environmental Education of the Government of Aragon
2. Review of the LINDANET objectives and introduction to the topic of the third workshop “Health and social aspects of soil contamination”
3. Presentation of the ITW3 interchange of experience:
A summary of thee experiences interchanged by the project partners during the third interregional meeting, related to social and Health aspects on HCH contamination were presented, including those presented by the Aragon region
The Government of Aragon provided an analysis of the applicability of the experiences interchanged to the Aragon sites.
Finally, the Government of Aragon informed about the next steps to be taken within the Lindanet project, making a special mention to the regional "Action Plan". The next stakeholder information meeting is scheduled for September 2021 after the next ITW.
Stakeholder participation was very active, they posed questions and made suggestions related to the situation of the meeting topic at the Aragon sites.
The stakeholder meeting was found essential to get the stakeholders of Aragon region involved in the project, to share with them the experiences interchanged among the project partners and to get their feedback and concerns. Stakeholder meetings are, for these relevant reasons mandatory for the Programme, and therefore, the relevance for the project is more than justified.
