The event took place on the 28th of June of 2021 between 10:00 and 11:30 CET and it was celebrated through videoconference due to COVID-19 social-distance restrictions.
Key stakeholders from the region, specifically those from the most lindane-affected area addressed by the project (municipalities of Mos and Porriño); have been contacted a few days before the meeting, sending them an invitation to participate in the meeting with the link for registration and then the access to the online platform on which the meeting took place (ZOOM).
The presentations used in the meeting have been also sent to participants in advance so that they could have the opportunity to review them.
A total of 11 persons attended the meeting, from Xunta de Galicia, (DXCASCC) , Ecologistas en acción, CHMS, Plataforma Antilindano da Louriña, Universidade da Coruña, Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, Rent a Brain (Action Plan), EOSA (Technical Assistance).
The main issues addressed have been the following:
• A brief overview of the project and its main objectives and activities, as a reminder, as it was done during the 2 previous stakeholders' meetings.
• A presentation of the project progresses since the second Stakeholders’ meeting, focusing on the Interregional Thematic Workshop celebrated on 8th and 9th of June 2021.
• A presentation of the Action Plan being developed by the Xunta de Galicia -DXCASCC within LINDANET project: “An improved governance structure for Lindane Management in Galicia”.
• A question and answers round, where participants could express their opinions under the coordination of the Xunta de Galicia.
After the meeting, the minutes of the meeting have been sent to all the participants, inviting them to send their feedback (proposals, doubts, appreciations).
