VISIT Vittorio Veneto: a brand new & “Local Flavours – oriented” digital tool for a better touristic promotion of the City and its sourroundings

The Status Quo Analysis carried on in the framework of Local Flavours project in Vittorio Veneto revealed a crucial need for the touristic development of the area: a better and more structured “City Marketing”, able to turn Vittorio Veneto into a reference point for the whole touristic area. Moreover, it stated that this city marketing strategy should have been focused on “visitors-based” perceptions, should have been based on what tourists and citizens appreciate the most of the city and its sourroudings.

Thanks to the support and the knowledge deriving from the implementation of Sub Actions 2.3.1 (City Communication Guidelines and training) and 2.3.2 (promotional video), the City of Vittorio Veneto decided to capitalize the efforts done and to equip itself, for the first time ever, with a Touristi APP, by investing their own funding in the Sub Action 2.3.3 of the Local Flavours Action Plan.

The APP (https://appturismovittorioveneto.com/), realized in 4 languages, is actually running and it is able to collect all the talents and “flavours” from Vittorio Veneto but also from the surrounding municipalities, with a specific focus on hiking and bike path, eno-gastronomic offer and nature. It makes available for citizens and tourists all the potentials emerged during more than 3 years of planning in a user friendly way, giving tourists a new tool to enjoy the city life as well as the attractions located nearby.
