The first meeting of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes stakeholders' group took place in Lyon on 27th September 2018. Clusters Lyonbiopole and Minalogic, research and innovation infrastructures CEA, CETIM, Ecole des mines and CIC-IT were present together with officers from the research & innovation and the economic department from the Region. Universities of Lyon and Grenoble, University hospital of Grenoble and cluster i- care could not attend the meeting but are also associated to the project.
After a presentation of the project and a brief overview of the stakeholders’ main competences in medical technologies, participants actively took part in a discussion to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the regional ecosystem of innovation in the field of medical technologies, and the best practises and worst mistakes to learn from. This will contribute to the “state of play “ each region has to write in order to fuel a joint and crossed analysis that will be presented at an interregional seminar in December.
