The Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN) organized in Santiago de Compostela the 6th Interregional Thematic Seminar under MONITORIS3 Project on 4th December 2018.
The programme of the event included an intervention of an innovation policy expert from the University of Santiago de Compostela; a representative of GAIN that set out the process of evaluation of RIS3 in Galicia; a representative of the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) that explained the monitoring system at the national level; a representative of the Basque Business development Agency (SPRI) which presented the Nasque model as an example of good practice.
The afternoon session was focused on practical work in which participants were distributed in working groups and had the opportunity to debate on concrete policy instruments from three participant regions. Some interesting conclusions on the monitoring systems of those policy instruments were highlighted.
On 5th December, Partners of MONITORIS3 visited the Centre for Research in Molecular Medicine and Chronic Disease (CIMUS) as part of an organized Site Visit. The Innopharma group is part of a consolidated Join Research Unit between a research organization and a company. Joint Units are an important formula in Galicia for bringing together the business world and the scientific/technical one to develop joint research and valorisation areas.
During the afternoon, MONITORIS3 Partners met for the Steering Committee Meeting.
