Our NMP-REG partner UEFISCDI had the privilege to learn about how to better capitalize on the exchange of experience within the consortium and to enter in contact with other Interreg Europe projects during the 1st edition of the @ETC University held in Bucharest.
ETC University - SmarTransnationalCooperation was organised on November 20th, 21st and 22nd at the initiative of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration in Romania, as the National Authority for European Programs, in order to initiate a common framework for dialogue and learning for beneficiaries, decision-makers and all interested in European territorial cooperation. The event comprised discussions on the results, opportunities and challenges posed by the three European Territorial Cooperation Programmes: the Danube Transational Programme, the URBACT III programme, and the INTERREG EUROPE programme.
Participants included representatives of the national authorities responsible for the management of these programmes in Romania, public and private institutions and organizations interested in funding opportunities, Romanian officials, as well as technical experts specialized in specific territorial cooperation instruments. The ETC University was aimed not only at presenting the best Romanian results obtained under ETC programmes, but also at training participants in strategic and financial project planning techniques, communication and capitalization instruments. Moreover, a debate session on the future of European Territorial Cooperation between 2021 – 2027 was organized, bringing together relevant actors at national and international level.
