The good practice TCUE (the Spanish acronym for “University-Business Knowledge Transfer”) – selected in the framework of P-IRIS project - will be presented in the next online Thematic Workshop organised by the Policy Learning Platform about “University-Industry Collaboration”.

E-workshop: university-industry collaboration | Interreg Europe

This programme was launched in 2008 by the Regional Government of Castilla y León (Spain) as part of the Regional R&D and Innovation Strategy of Castilla y León for the period 2007-2013, but it is still on-going under the umbrella of RIS3 (Strategy for Smart Specialisation) in the territory.

TCUE is based on three main pillars:

• University ecosystem for the transfer of knowledge.

• Promotion of university-business collaboration and open innovation.

• Impulse to university entrepreneurship.

Castilla y León has a powerful university system with 9 universities in all, 4 public and 5 private. All 9 universities or their agencies are involved in the project.

The coordinating of the project corresponds to the “Fundación Universidades y Enseñanzas Superiores de Castilla y León (FUESCYL)”, a not-for-profit organization answerable to the regional government.

On Thursday, 11th March 2021, this initiative will be presented by Susana Cámara Decimavilla, Director of the Knowledge Transfer Office in the University of Burgos (responsible for the programme at the local level and also part of P-IRIS Local Stakeholders Group).

The event will be held in Zoom and the registration is open here
