Finish stakeholders of P-IRIS Regional Stakeholder Group met on 15th August 2017 in Toholampi, Finland. The meeting was organized by Regional Council of Central Ostrobothnia.
Key events in the P-IRIS projectduring autumn semester 2017 were discussed in the meeting: project partner reporting, application for payment to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, visit to Burgos in September and visit to Croatia in December 2017. The next P-IRIS regional workshop will take place in Burgos, Spain on 20th – 21st September 2017. Project manager Anne Sormunen, Steering group member Jennie Elfving and the new Project Coordinator Tytti Pohjola will take part from Finland.
In addition, project themes such as remote working, tourism, local food and local business ideas were discussed at length. Also the group discussed ways to reach out to citizens who’s roots are in the are but who have moved away.
