On Friday, 30th of November 2018, at the premises of the Local Development Agency PINS in Skrad at the address of Ivan Goran Kovačić, a workshop was held, entitled "Presentation of Good Practice of the P-iris Project". Representatives of the Center for Local Economic Development of the Faculty of Economics, University of Rijeka and Local Development agency PINS presented concrete examples of good practices of entrepreneurship development in the rural areas in EU countries of the P-iris project`s partners. The aim of the workshop was to present the basic starting points for the action plan and the improvement of innovative systems in the Gorski Kotar region. There were 14 attendees at the workshop. Representatives of Primorsko Goranska County as well as representatives of the cities and municipalities of Gorski Kotar were also present. The workshop triggered a discussion between the participants and the lecturers, and all agreed that the good communication between institutions, local authorities and entrepreneurs is essential but sometimes lacking in the rural environment.
