On 21-22 November 2016, Pas-de-Calais County Council - lead partner of PASSAGE project participated to the Interact "Knowledge of the seas" event in Porto. It was the occasion to present the first policy recommendations emerging from PASSAGE project about the specificities of maritime borders and possible improvements in the support to cross-border cooperation in these specific border regions. This event was a great opportunity for capitalisation on the project results, in presence of representatives from various Interreg programmes covering maritime border regions across Europe.
This follows the participation of the coordinator of the Interact "Knowledge of the seas" network to the European Week of Regions and Cities local event in Tallinn and workshop in Brussels organised by PASSAGE partners on the topic of cross-border cooperation on maritime borders.
