Following a first meeting on each side of Dover Strait, local stakeholders from both Kent and Pas-de-Calais met on 4th November at the joint invitation from Kent County Council and Pas-de-Calais County Council. The opportunity to remind local stakeholders with the main stakes of the project for both institutions and the shared will of finding innovative solutions for a low-carbon Dover Strait.


During the second half of the meeting, participants were divided in two groups for brainstormings around two major topics of the project:

  • Low-carbon transportation
  • Environment and attractiveness strategies

A presentation of the cross-border Intercore project was made: this good practice from Dover Strait has been chosen to be displayed in Helsinki during the next European seminar of PASSAGE project.
