On the occasion of the European Energy Transition Conference in Dunkirk, from 22 to 24 January, 2 partners from the PASSAGE project, Pas-de-Calais County Council and the Province of Lecce, presented their commitment to the energy and low-carbon transition by showing the results of PASSAGE project.
Partners especially shared their experience of mobilization of local stakeholders from their territory, since the construction of a common base of knowledge until the action. A story that begins with the results of the carbon study in straits areas that shows that 17% of greenhouse gas emissions are generated by maritime traffic, a finding that confirms the climate impact of this traffic and opens the way to a mobilization actors on a shared finding.
With nearly 3000 participants, 20 countries represented and the exceptional presence at the opening ceremony of the Minister of Ecological and Solidarity-Based Transition, the European Energy Transition Conference confirmed, for its 20th anniversary edition, that it is a not-to-be-missed high spot of consultation and debate for the local players committed to energy transition.
