Tomorrow the PROSPERA launching event will start at 9:00 in Debrecen, Hungary. The conference will be open for the relevant organisations and press. Ákos Balázs, Deputy Mayor for Environmental Protection from the Municipality of Debrecen and Carlotta Bonvicini, Deputy Mayor for Sustainability from Reggio Emilia Municipality will welcome the audience. There will be presentations about:
- why a city should promote and invest in peri-urban areas
- 5 European cities promoting sustainable peri-urban areas: PROSPERA main territories and challenges
- landscape ecological background of the peri-urban area of Debrecen
- EU policies and perspectives about natural heritage and urban eco-system
The purpose of this event is to disseminate the project to the press and to share the gathered regional characteristics and good practices among the project partners.
