On 26th June 2018 experts from the Development Bank Saxony-Anhalt met with one of the regional PURE COSMOS policy owners.
The focus: Improving the program "Sachsen-Anhalt WEITERBILDUNG BETRIEB", which grants funding to SME's in order to train their employees.
Amongst the addressed issues were simplifications in the program documents and the introduction of a profile of competences for SMEs.
These steps represent the first answers to challenges SMEs face when applying for funding in this program.
With the profile of competences, SMEs will provide all their info in one place and then be able to use this profile to apply for several actions at once.
This will not only make it easier for SMEs to apply for funding but also lead to a more efficient administrative process.
