It has been a spring full of action in South Ostrobothnia, Finland, especially considering Regions4Food project! The mappings of the needs and barriers, relational capital, good practices and data involved lots of stakeholders. It also offered a good insight of the regions state of the art.
Traceability is the absolute strength of the region and country, and that is outcome of long term cooperation and systematic data collection. This also leads to food safety. Yet more multidisciplinary cooperation is needed to further develop the digitalization in the food value chain. Also new knowhow in the changing operating environment is always needed.
We are convinced that Regions4Food project will offer interesting discussions and learning process for all the partners to develop agri-food sector digitalization together and to improve the regional policies.
