New synergies within REGIONS 4FOOD: stakeholders from the University of Cordoba (Andalusia Region), and the University of Ferrara (Emilia-Romagna Region), have created a consortium to participate in a Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions call.Thanks to the synergies born between both Universities within the project, there are further joint cooperation and research projects to come in the near future.
During the study visit organised by the Andalusia Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development in September 2019, both universities found they shared common interests regarding their research work. After the visit, they kept in contact with each other by email and videoconference and decided to work together in their common area of interest.
In the meantime, in Finland, students from the University of Applied Sciences of Seinäjoki, in the South Ostrobothnia Region, participated in the implementation of the methodologies elaborated in the frame of the project during Semester 2: Data and Technology Catalogues and Identification of Needs and Barriers of the Agrifood Chain Digitization. Some students are now writing two bachelor's theses and developing one multidisciplinary study project about the subjects rising from the project.
