On Wednesday 03.06.2020, Fachhochschule Vorarlberg hosted an Internal Institutional Meeting organized in an online setting. The event was attended by broad range of experts involved in scientific and industrial field of work. Main themes discussed during the meeting included the analysis of RES technologies, used in industrial processes in Vorarlberg (Austria). Also, monitoring systems for calculating the long term effect of such practices were in the focus of interest of participating parties.
In the scope of the Policy Instrument addressed, FHV introduced the RES setting in Vorarlberg and subsequently presented the best practices identified in national context. Further discussion included identification of possible directions for advancing RES practices through the project implementation. The main focus in this regard was on the use of material and energy technologies for identifying alternative energy storages, water treatment and energy recovery based on absorption processes.
The advantages stimulated by the application of cross-sectoral technologies in particular industrial setting were identified as a potential field future for scientific and industrial collaborative practices. The main results of the event are identified as a set of future recommendation for the State Government Vorarlberg aimed to promote the expansion of RES in Austria.
