On 13 June 2022, the South Bohemian Region, headed by its Governor Martin Kuba, starts accepting applications for the 3rd year of the "South Bohemian Region Governor's Award for Social Responsibility (CSR) in 2020 and 2021".

The aim of the award is to recognise those companies and organisations that are active in the South Bohemian Region in the field of social responsibility. The Governor’s Award for Social Responsibility rises ideologically from the National Award of the Czech Republic for CSR and is awarded to commercial and public sector subjects of the South Bohemian Region.

"If corporate social responsibility has become part of your corporate culture and strategy, you are the right candidates for this award," urges Governor Martin Kuba, "a sustainable and responsible approach does not just mean extra money, but ultimately represents a competitive advantage, whether you operate in a for-profit or non-profit environment." With this award, the Governor would like to thank the organisations that, even in the difficult times of the Covid-19 pandemic, did not give up on these issues and took an interest in their employees and their surroundings. At the same time, he would like to use good examples to motivate other entities that have not yet focused on the development of socially responsible and sustainable activities.
