Ing. Michaela Novotná from South Bohemian Agency for Support to Innovation, partner organization of the Road-CSR project for the Czech Republic, has become a regional leader of the Giving Tuesday initiative.
Giving Tuesday has been celebrated worldwide since 2012 and came to the Czech Republic in 2016 under the auspices of the Association of Social Responsibility. In a moment, it has become a global donor movement that is driven by individuals, families, non-profit organizations, businesses and communities around the world.
Giving Tuesday comes is a counterpart to the shopping frenzy on Black Friday. Millions of people will join Giving Tuesday to support the activities they trust and the communities in which they live not only on this day.
