On 8th of September 2020 the Governor of the South Bohemian Region, Ivana Stráská, granted the prizes in Regional Authority Award for social responsibility of organizations in South Bohemia Region.
Business companies, non-profit organizations as well as social entrepreneurs were awarded for their voluntary activities in 2019 with the positive impact on society in economic, social and environmental field.
30 South Bohemian organizations entered the award in 6 categories . The Evaluation Board discussed their self-evaluation questionnaires and according to established criteria determined 3 winners in each category.
The main aim was not a competition among entering organizations, but also a sharing of positive experiences realized in South Bohemia Region and sharing of best practice of specific organizations. The Governor of the South Bohemian Region awarded the Honorable Mention to all participating companies.
A number of applications have shown that the issue of social responsibility is important for them, and we believe that, especially in today's difficult times, these goals will remain their priority for the future.
