Stakeholders in Hungary focused on social enterprises during the Rural SMEs project with the support of the Rural SMEs partner, the Central Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency.
Some positive outcomes during the Action Plan phase of the project include the launch of an Erasmus+ funded project titled Empowered Women for Rural Development.
A bilateral cooperation with the Rural SMEs Romanian partner, Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bistrita Nasaud, was also put in place. A joint event was organised involving relevant Hungarian and Romanian stakeholders in March 2021 to explore further opportunities for cooperation.
