On 29 June, Agenex, in collaboration with the Extremadura Regional Government, arranged a local stakeholder group meeting to discuss Social Green and FINERPOL. Both Interreg Europe projects seek to improve energy efficiency in buildings, providing synergies for discussing both the social hosing aspect and the financing challenges around energy retrofit work. The aim of the meeting was to present the projects and their latest advances to the key stakeholders representing Extremadura regional government, the Architects Association of Extremadura, Technical Architects Association of Cáceres, URVIPSEXSA, INTROMAC, and Agenex, and to share potential measures to be taken into account to improve regional policies. The stakeholders in attendance also had the opportunity to share problems they are encountering in their respective work with grants for energy renovations and one-stop-shops.
