The STOB regions partnership gathered together for a two day workshop on the topic of "Bringing business transfer back on the agenda" on the 8th and 9th of June in Palma de Mallorca.
After the long pandemic and the recent political developments in Europe, the focus of the businesses and business services has shifted from long term strategic planning to deal with the matters on hand. The partners of the STOB regions project joined together to think of measures to bring business transfers back on the the agenda and the results were promising. After learning about the topic for many years and implementing the action plans in each region, the partners came up with many good ideas based on these experiences.
On the first day, the partners presented and discussed the situation in the regions. On the second day, the solutions were brainstormed in small groups. This lead into fruitful discussions and fresh ideas how to refresh the topic in the regions. We hope to see these ideas to be put in action and see the business transfers again on the agenda all over Europe.
